Maizi at four weeks, when we went to Caitlin Labradoodles to make our choice - it was the perfect one! So cute...... and still so today

I am Jan Newton and I'd like to introduce you to my very special golden labradoodle,  who I named Newton's  'Amazing Grace' - I hasten to add that she is always called Maizi by all her friends and admirers.  Maizi was born on 29th January 2008 to Puff of Caitlin-Labradoodles, one of a gorgeous litter of 10 pups, all very individual.  Her Dad is Dylan of Jastra Goldendoodles,  and she is a wonderful combination of both Puff and Dylan. She displays both a fun-loving , mischievous nature, (particularly when outdoors playing with her many canine friends, or enjoying the beautiful countryside walks surrounding my home), and also a very placid, laid-back, peaceful and companionable nature when in the house where she is absolutely adored, and ......... well,   pretty spoilt, I guess.  She has that wonderful knack of looking at you with those soulful brown eyes, and melting your heart !!  I'm also really jealous of her thick, incredibly long curly blonde eyelashes - even the boys in her litter had them !

Maizi has a soft, fleecy, curly coat, which scarcely sheds, but which does require a fair amount of grooming to maintain it in tiptop condition -  however , this is mostly a pleasurable occupation as she really enjoys being pampered !

If this page has whetted your appetite,  I encourage you to look at the gallery, and enjoy some more photos of Maizi from her puppyhood till now, both here at Guisborough in the North Yorkshire Moors, and also in some wonderful Scottish scenery taken while away on holiday.
